Following the mountain theme, I created a storyboard conveying the adventure of a hiker. Sketched in comic book form, I wanted to create a different style that fit the theme of the story. Dark greys combined with think and thin lines really helped me define the peaks of the mountains as well as the cave and ice shown in the story. The larger meaning behind this simple story relates to our lives. Along with the mountains that we are all individually climbing, we encounter people along the way. Although the yeti attempts to scare the hiker, it regrets its decision after, drawing parallels to the real world with our lives. Some people seem tough on the exterior, but on the inside they still have feelings like every other human. I discovered that 'a mountain' can be seen in many different ways, and I have tried to convey it in a few metaphoric meanings. In the end I was really happy with my sketches and how the story turned out. #des101 #poster
