Tasked with designing a product that could display data in a unique way, the last DES100 assignment for this semester was a team project. Instead of being given a brief including an outcome, our challenge was to create a solution to a fairly open problem. The design challenge we faced was to improve peoples health and fitness habits with a product that displays data. After ideating, we decided to create form similar to a neon sign that would depict calories burned. This would then be connected to the users phone or smart watch to give live updates on burnt calories. As a whole, this project was really enjoyable experience, working in teams remotely certainly had it's challenges, but we overcame them and designed an excellent prototype that could be made in the future.
